Yala's animals move at first and last light, so this drive is timed to match them. You'll head out before sunrise or in the cool of the afternoon, tracking fresh signs — pug marks, alarm calls, vultures circling — through scrub jungle, rocky outcrops, and lagoon edges. Leopard sightings are never guaranteed on any single drive, but Yala has one of the highest leopard densities recorded anywhere, and your guide reads the park daily.
